November 8 at Children’s Museum to Celebrate 10th Anniversary of Expansion

PITTSBURGH (October 30, 2014) – On Saturday, November 8, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Museum’s expansion with FREE admission, lantern making activities, a family resource fair and youth performances. https://pittsburghkids.org/events/1557/2014/11/8

Illuminating the Northside for the past 10 years, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh’s Lantern Building - the structure that connects the Old Post Office building and neighboring Buhl Planetarium - literally and figuratively is the inspiration for celebration of our expansion’s 10th anniversary,” stated Bill Schlageter, the Children’s Museum’s Director of Marketing. “Youth performances, our family resource fair, the collaborative lantern making and other activities will not only celebrate the warm glow of the lantern building, but more importantly, provide experiences for families that spotlight the light within us all.”
